New Camera, New Pix
...and here I resurface just long enough to post a link to my new Photobucket album -- the KRUI radio studio! KRUI is the University of Iowa's student-run radio station, and my new pal DJ Samlive invited me to sit in on one of his broadcasts. I took the opportunity to get in some practice with my fancy and fabulous new Nikon D50 and snapped a few photos from inside the booth.
I'm STILL working on editing the wedding photos from a couple of weeks ago -- they are slow like molasses but oh... they are also sweet like honey. Hopefully early next week I will have waded through the 140+ shots and edited them to be presentable. More on that later.
And with that, I will return to looking at the world through a camera lens...
Take a deep breath... and... go.

You have a real talent - and I'm not saying that because you are my daughter - these are awesome! I LOVE the headphones on the cd's - and the blurry shot of the mic! There was one other one that knocked my socks off but I don't remember exactly which it was w/o looking again - which I'm sure I'll do - again and again! You capture beauty in things no one else sees. Not everyone can do that.
You HAVE to say that because you're my mommy. Don't lie.
